Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, it is that time of year again: a time of family, food and gratitude. This year in our time of trouble and trial, we still have a lot to be thankful for. For instance, we are still the nation with the most rights and plus whether half of us voted or not this year, we (the American people) elected our president into office, so we are still somewhat a democracy. Point being, count your blessings this holiday and think about what truly matters in life to you personally. Is it really the house that you live in or the car you drive? No, it is the people around you that you care about and the ones that care about you. Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, I am obviously behind in this blogging thing...again. I have been inspired by pretty much all of my friends to start this thing; not only that, but my grandfather even has one (shh don't tell anyone). Well, guys lets face it, our government has taken over the media, and now, who can we believe about what is right, wrong, true, or false?... the truth (no pun intended) is, we can't. According to the first amendment of the Bill of Rights, we have the freedom of the press, (click here to learn about the Bill of Rights) which means that we have constitutional or statuary protections pertaining to the media and published material. This statement that we have lived by for about 200 years now, has been pushed aside these years that I have been alive and probably before that. My point is that we are in desperate need not only for media that is separate from the government, but a conservative media would not do anybody harm either. I'd better stop talking, or the secret service will show up at my door for providing you with true and legit facts, but that is a completely different story. In short my mission with this blog thing, is that I want to send you the media that is out there with a Christian worldview. I also want to point out that though I have talked a lot about what seems like politics, there is a lot more to media than politics. Music, movies, and books will be included in my topics here at Mochas N Media. I want to get to the point where I will be posting audio and visual multimedia that will prove that there could really be a good Christian conservative media if we would only lock arms and get out there first.
